The Situation
Debowsky Design Group had the talent and vision to grow its business but lacked the project experience needed to break into higher-end residential design. As a result, the firm was stuck primarily taking on smaller-scale remodels.
While the work was steady, it didn’t align with their long-term goals. To move upmarket, they needed credibility, strategic positioning and the right opportunities to build a stronger portfolio.
The Approach
To bridge that gap, TFG implemented a focused and consistent marketing strategy built on four blog posts and two email campaigns per month, supported by occasional Instagram content.
More importantly, we acted as strategic advisors to guide Debowsky toward growth opportunities that would elevate its positioning. This included encouraging partnerships with builders on spec home projects, which was critical to gaining the hands-on experience needed to compete at a higher level.
As their portfolio evolved, so did their brand. Through intentional messaging and expanded industry connections, Debowsky aligned with larger and more competitive opportunities, including work connected to Kobi Karp Architecture & Interior Design.
The Result
The transformation was significant. What began as a small but steady business evolved into a more profitable, high-end operation. Debowsky Design Group moved from $8,000 bathroom remodels to leading half-million-dollar new-build homes — and ultimately contributed to a $20 million residence associated with Kobi Karp.
With a consistent and strategic approach (not an overwhelming one), their marketing became a true growth engine, which demonstrates that the right mix of content, positioning and guidance can completely redefine what’s possible for a business.
